"Voices of the Void" Pre-Alpha 0.8.1
A new update appeared
This update was very rushed because of halloween and some life stuff, so more than usual amount of bugs, unintentional features and oversights ARE expected.
You don't need to reset your saves IF: your save is too valuable, has decorations on it, etc
The new update updates these parts of the map:
-Some minor objects
-The death shack location
Reset/make a new save if you want to check out the new updated shack

aka change the day events happen to be further apart
I have no idea why this problem occurs, but i cant ping any signals. I press Shift to find them, point the cross on them, press enter and... nothing happens, seems like the game doesn't even recognize my "Enter" button. If it was due to the game the console below would've said something. I wanna play the game badly but I physically cant😭
did you rebind the enter key or something
В последней версии есть огромная проблема. Оптимизация. Моя видеокарта нормальная, но всё равно, когда запускаешь игру, загружена до 100%. Это не нормально. Очень жду обновление или рекомендацию по оптимизации игры. С нетерпением жду! There is a huge problem with the latest version. Optimization. My graphics card is normal, but it still works 100% when you start the game. This is not normal. I'm really looking forward to an update or a recommendation to optimize the game. I'm looking forward to it! Тебе кто такую чушь снёс? Если видак загружен на 100% это наоборот идеал. Если же загрузка меньше 100%, то это значит, что горлышко бутылочное в системе есть.
Ты еще скажи, что в Пасьянсе или Сапере 100% загруженной 4070 - это норма.
В пасьянсе нет, но здесь да. Глянь на неоптимизированные игры типа доты. Там 110 фпс(он неограничен), а карта нагружена на 70%. У меня rtx 2060 + r5-7500f. Т.е. практически везде вижу упор в карту, но не в доте. И ничего там не поможет поднять фпс)) только снижение настроек графики / покупка более мощного оборудования. Но потанцевал rtx 2060 остаётся не раскрыт, карта чилит.
Love the update but all the item icons are just black boxes.
Edit: They're not just black boxes, there are actual item icons if you squint, but they're super dark and hard to see,
I only played for 5 days, but in those 5 days, this hole drove me crazy. I spent 1/3 of each day trying to get the quad out of the bottom, and I'll say it's very difficult. This hole is very deep and has steep banks. On the 5th day, the auto save worked at the bottom just before I died (the period button on the numeric keypad didn't work at that moment for some reason). I deleted this save. I don't know how it happened. I want to complain about this hole.
I don't even know why it's there, you can't do anything with it (yet) and it is right on one of the paths people commonly drive the ATV across with nothing stopping you and your ATV from falling in.
What's the new Kerfur Omega crafting? The book just says.. nothing at all, really. Can only craft Kerfur Pelvis.
Ah, it's a different book altogether. Check the books around the bunker, one of them is a normal notebook, similar to the one on the bench in base by default.
Hello, big fan of the game, but i found a bug. When a notebook is emptied or if you tear a page from a page, when you interact with the notebook or original page, your game cashes. It's easily avoidable but it caught me off guard, lost some progress; the bug is repeatable too. You could have the notebook or original page delete itself to solve the problem? I wish you luck, thanks for letting us play the game.
Fixed in upcoming patch;
Playing for the first time after watching streams forever, and almost everything seems like it's working perfectly. Only exception is the kerfur pathing. Totally borked. Already lost two at the bottom of the northeast lake, exact same spot (around X 436, Y -440 IIRC). Once they start veering towards the water it's like down is the only way they can go. Even with manual controls there's no way out. Until I get scuba gear I gotta go 100% hands-on. Can't wait 'til that's fixed. Only other thing that strikes me as odd is how come there's lighting all up and down the roads but the outside of the base itself is pitch black aside from the front door? Seems like there'd at least be some lights on the drone landing pad and the area leading up to the garage. Either way loving all these updates!
on new versions this can be fixed if you change the mode to winter, then the kerfur will crawl out of the ice. the mode can be changed with the button assigned to the control

What's the name of the new ambient/who made it?
Amazing game! The game seems to crash/freeze when a notebook runs out of pages and you open it. Sound effects continue to play so don't think the game fully crashed. Possibly just gets you stuck in a menu that doesn't exist :/

Nah you should be fine only restart if you wanna see the new "Kill shed" whatever that is

I've been having an issue where if I nail furniture down, and reload it's just floating, or unnailed entirely, this is an issue I've had in a lot of patches, as the nailing down of objects just doesn't seem very reliable. I love this game, I really hope that gets fixed at some point soon because it's really demotivating when you spend 30 days and alot of money setting your base up just for it to randomly be destroyed on reload, and then you get to spend another few hours fixing it.
Aww man I liked that KerfurO could carry items while on the ATV :( Dragging around crates is too unreliable for me. I do hope we get SOME way to carry two handed things back using the ATV. Overall looks pretty good though :]
