The comments were not posted because I intended to socialise, but rather to put a set of individual points across in an open manner. I had no other place to do so, so it is here. I am putting your own peace of mind over my own intentions. For your own good, stay away (there are minimal consequences to ignoring, however). The Caretaker? Mmm, it's okay. Probably didn't listen to it properly since I wasn't willing to waste over 6 straight hours listening to it without doing something in the meantime, but yeah. It's quite empty, and a lot longer than the ending. Didn't really put EATEOT in the playlist because it will chow up a lot of time, almost double the playlist's runtime and very well be repeat itself straight after the next song on shuffle. Touhou? Dunno what that is. Like...doesn't pretty much every Touhou game have one?
Touhou is just a great game. With The Caretaker there is no proper way to listen to it, you don't need to waste straight hours on that, that's stupid. Just listen when you have the time.
The proper way to listen to it is obviously one album per sitting. Pausing would be like leaving a movie to take a break from it at a cinema and you probably wouldn't be so moved by it.
But I won't argue for inopportune people to try to attempt that at least.
Well, for your first listen, obviously it's most optimal to listen in one sitting. But with projects such as these that have 6 hours and 30 minutes of content, I would suggest looking deeper into every track, every song, and relisten to each song until you get an understanding of what every song means.
There is so much detail. so much sound you can simply skip over or ignore, I with 100% seriousness suggest to the listeners to memorize each song. And obviously that takes way more than multiple sittings, the same way you rewatch a movie multiple times and notice interesting details. So many people skip over post awareness stages, it saddens me, it's my favorite part of the album yet so many people disregard it as simple noise. But the more you listen the more you notice how enjoyable each section is. I, after the first listen listened to each stage on loop for over 4 times, until I got an impression of each song. So, one listen without paying attention is not something to be considered impressive.

People! Don't get sad about there not being an update in a while. The updates that take the longest are usually the best. Even if the next update won't be as grandiose, nose will have a fresh mind and fresh muscle memory to create something better.
Look. I got sad about having not released an update in a while. The update just took a year and doesn't have much. Even though AEWVS' next update hasn't been released lately, MrDrNose still has another project he's working on, and I spent under a week.
MrDrNose isn't the one you should be worried about.
If you are implying you are worse with updating, hey, you are letting everyone know you are alive almost every single day by posting on AEwVS itch.io page, also letting people know about your projects.
And in reality it's not mandatory to update your art projects, what is important is safety and well-being of the artist. Especially if they have 3 projects going on at once! Let Nose chill for a while, it's like sleep, time wasting but worth it.
FireyDeath4, look at it this way: Every single thing you do in this world, is progress. Even doing nothing, for me means mentally adjusting towards getting more patience, or having an easier ability of planning out your greater actions beforehand, or learning a skill of durability. Now, obviously there is good progress, and bad progress. I believe life is a series of determining what's bad progress and good progress, and acting on it. Every, thing, contributes to something positive and negative one way or another and helps society/person realize the mistakes they have done, or what good effect it made on them.
Having this mindset unlocks a better look on the world. In this case, Nose is mentally adjusting for getting a more creative mind. I am a firm believer that even watching the TV all day is not a lazy thing to do, media helps you learn new philosophies, new words, new ways of formulating sentences, new art, and that can inspire you. That can help you build better art. You might have noticed me leaving social media, that is, for this reason.
That being said, I hope this idea can inspire you to make your update better/faster.

I do think you should waste more time on your project. Unironically recommend to waste 7-8 hours a day on working. At least that's what I do. Ignore distractions, even your friends at time. It's worth it, more time on the project = more progress. Especially when you already have the idea and understanding of what you want it to be.

I tried to click the cursor as you said, and passed the mouse veeeryy slowlyyy through the button a lot of times but it never turned grey to click it, i saw someone click the button very easily in one of the borders of it (in the top left and the buttom right i think) so i tried to hit those parts but it didn't work, maybe is because of my resolution with my pc? because the cursor of that channel was a little bit tinnier than mine.. I think im gonna still be playing version 0.26 but thanks for the information anyways
They have an age requirement now? I believe that scary stories/fiction can be for people of all ages, but when it comes to writing publically, there should be quality control. Kind of on the fence about this, but then again I think Salad Fingers is for children, whatever.
I disagree with the SCP Wiki Foundation moderation lately, but they can rule their website however they want. Mainly, they discredited 4chan for their own creation. Saying, they don't stand with chan culture and it's beliefs, even though they began there. That's completely fine! But it feels wrong to me. The SCP's themselves have also began dipping in quality, even the old ones, SCP-1875 had one of my most favorite images on the entire internet. I have no idea how did they even think of creating such a terrifying image. It doesn't have any tropes I can name other than Nightmare Fuel, it doesn't use photoshop (most likely) and simple image editing. The photo is so well made it feels real. It's like seeing Jeff The Killer or smile.jpg for the very first time. Don't forget this image began AEwVS and has been always used for Viktor.
Now what we have now as the replacement for the image (i understand the copyright issues, and that's completely fine), we have a very obvious stock photo with shutterstock lighting, a memey-like motion blur, obvious photoshop and simple editing. Not to discredit their efforts, just my cruel opinion. Then with the SCP's and their writing, they got an SCP-2721. Which is literally, on the page, written as a trans Homestuck OC from Tumblr. Why is it necessary to bring real world culture, and social media/webcomic references, and gender into a fictional alternative universe full of mysterious creatures? It ruins the whole illusion.
I apologize for the rant and if it is a bit too mean, but I had to get my opinion out somewhere. That being said I still enjoy the wonderful SCP Universe, but everything is going to have small issues with time.
I was on track to have my life completely change on Saturday after realising just how much I can be in control, then I got held up by a few things and today I had a runny nose and am about to sleep (-_-)
I have a lot of hope in you doing so. Remember that processes such as changing your life aren't done with a push of a button or in one day, it takes a long time to adjust even if you are done with something.
