Once i fail at the last question of the first notebook, viktor just stay completely still and i can't access the other parts of the college besides the starting area. Should i be playing in another version?

Don't wait. Make the circumstances favourable. We both know that'll never happen until AEWVS actually gains exposure again without pestering others, and deary me is nobody in this community qualified to actually critique AEWVS. If people actually need a community to help them play the game (which went about 100% of the time as far as I know) then already you can tell it clearly isn't that intuitive. Also, as demonstrated by Happy G Toon Adventures and other test maps, there's just something senselessly mesmerising about messing around in Unreal Engine in general. So if we're asked to give it an objective critique after watching a few videos from YouTube channels talking about games and their impact and communication with the players, we're bound to start getting quite a bit confused.
The best I can do is hear about all the ways games do good, and put them in my own project.
Aaaaaaand I forgot to say the rest of what was supposed to happen to make AEWVS ready for reintroduction to exposure. Resuming and finishing development. There are still a lot of things in the game yet to be developed or enhanced, and that point's been stated for every two cents of critique given to AEWVS.

Honestly it's kinda hypocritical of me, since I personally don't like Twitch or live streaming in general very much. I have a window overflowing with YouTube tabs that I usually watch on 2× speed that I made a collapsible group for, and you expect me to watch a stream filled with the slow, realtime suspense of whoever's streaming it? What a waste of time.

Anyone knows the current development of gd and Alex Basics: Scrina's Sensors? Just want to know how those games are going as mrdrnose seems too busy to update this game right now.
Know the controls. (Yes, I literally put knowing the controls UNDER taking your time and experimenting. Since you can't access the tutorial anymore, you can just press Q while playing and look at the list.)
Be patient and don't give up like the rest of them. Even if you played at your best performance throughout, playing the game would take at least 3 hours. Which is lower than the average session time of MIX UP GAMERS, who streams this game. Obviously there's tons of fun to be had wasting time messing around with an alpha development game with so many features and such a community.
Maybe don't use the shop. It's more rewarding, and personally I think less cheating and wasting time money-grinding to just figure things out and beat the levels properly. (Plus, you might really want that money later on...) You can purchase test maps for the kicks, but yeah. They might have spoilers.
Play in Lil Puss mode first to get an idea of the map. (You won't progress to the next level, but don't worry, you'll get an achievement.) To be honest, I was always lost in it while watching videos about it until I played the game myself.
yeah it's been almost a third of a year, but just you see the reconstruction period from versions 0.11 and 0.13
Just join Discord, you can probably ask if you want. Though, of course everybody will tell you not to rush someone who's doing a passion project for free. He's already making another game titled "gd" (it probably will have a better name in future) by the way. I saw people play new updates only available to advisors, so maybe try getting there to play newer unreleased updates.
