How about a teacher you have to constantly look at, except when you're solving a notebook? I imagine there to be an open map, like you can explore the whole thing before you even collect the first notebook, and once this teacher is after you, you have to walk the whole thing backwards. Also, it would be cool if after you solved a notebook, the teacher is very close to you, staring at you, but he/she is giving you some time to escape and if you stand there for too long, it's game over.

Edit: And when you solved a notebook, you have about 5 to 10 seconds time, before teacher attacks you. For that time, he/she could be disabled, so he/she doesn’t attack you even if you‘re not looking at them.
I think one of the next teachers, 4th or 5th, should have a stealth-hiding component, like the Granny mobile game, where unlike Viktor who knows where you are at all times regardless of stealth, this new teacher would aimlessly search the floor seeking your location, and you cannot juke or outrun this teacher if they see you, like Marzia and Doggos. The teacher will rely on sound to find you, and dropping items, notebook beeps, and any other suspicious sounds can alert the teacher where you are. Oh, and unlike the other teachers, this one can turn their bodies at different angles like Freek-a-del'ka, Doggos, and the librarian, so if you see the teacher's backside, quietly back the f#ck away. I don't think door-opening will count as an alarming sound, because other characters can open doors too. There will be a few hiding spots around the classrooms and corridors, only a few, because a lot of them would be too easy. There will also be a lot of traps, like bear traps and tripwires linked to bells, probably like the war siren that some of us have heard, or the normal school bell, that other enemies in the game are smart enough to avoid, while the player is prone to making noise with said traps. The h-teacher's punishment will probably be a guillotine, like the one in the Granny game.
One more thing, I bet Baldi will be the geometry teacher after being promoted from being a simple math teacher, if mrdrnose doesn't get a copyright strike, that is. He looks like a geometry teacher alright.
I'm just waiting for the next update before I stream it again, as I have found practically everything in the game. Also, thank you for changing that image, as youtube doesn't find humor in those kind of pictures.
Heyo, I just played Advanced Basics with Viktor for the first time a couple hours ago and I have to say it was amazing. I loved the feeling of terror ever present after failing the first notebook. I didn't get very far after that and the jump scare caught me off guard. I planed on playing this for a YouTube series and now I am dead set on picking through and finding the story here if there is one. You have made an amazing game mrdrnose and I cant wait to play more.

I think the one that‘s called „Hunting Beast“ suits her best in the final chase. The music from Specimen 5 from Spooky‘s Jumpscare Mansion would be good for the regular chase.
The one titled "escaping" for her normal chase, it's not too intense or loud. I agree with the "hunting beast" one for the final chase. Fits really well.
I think Hunting Beast fits Alice's final chase more than Marzia's, as it kind of suits the history level more than language level. Marzia's theme would probably sound more alien-like or SCP-ish because she looks like one, and Hunting beast sounding more like a demon forest like the one found in the history level.
Also, I know, it might sound stupid, but can someone please tell me how I cut the watermelon? I tried it in the video I posted today, but it didn‘t work. I also lost one of my rusty knives because of the belt bug.

Yeah, that‘s what I meant. That‘s what I heard, too. I don‘t think it means anything, yet. Maybe it‘s a feature for the new update or it‘s just something that‘s randomly there, to scare the player. Or maybe it has something to do with the lore? 🤔🤷🏻♀️
Well, I died and stopped my recording. When I clicked back into the game, I heard it. That happened in language level. Another person heard it, when they were looking through a trashcan, also in language I think and another person heard it, when they were solving a notebook in math level. So I guess the siren happens randomly.

Hey, Mrdrnose, just a quick important thing you should do for when you upload the completable version of History. You HAVE to make sure that you remove the nuclear pigeon since it would be too easy to beat the level with. It should just be a "debug" item for testing only, like it is only obtainable through a [num 0] code rather than being craftable.

Ex: Viktor getting twice as angry for each wrong answer and the first math notebook starting with three numbers on default.
so heres my theory, viktor is a 6th grade advanced math teacher. why? well im in 6th grade advanced math and learning 8 - - 2 and 8 + - 2 and stuff so yeah. 6th grade advanced.
So in search of the black key (am I right thinking it's in the room just behind the barricade? and I need to get Mr. Cleany to open it?), I decided to wander around and get some tapes to see why the tape room is prohibited. And I found that each tape has it's own properties. Each tape found in a specific place plays some specific random stuff. I also didn't really understand any of the tapes. So I went and took screenshots of my tape collecting saga:

Then Mr. Cleany streaked in and took away my tape from the corner.Ugh...I had another one about having this long one in the background but I think I overwrote it. It's obviously a YouTube video that I don't understand because it's in Russian. And all I could think was "naaaaaaaaaani?"At this point I turned to open the door and I walked straight into Viktor's face and got cut open. :DThis one made more sense than the others, but also less sense in the sense that it's like "why is this here?" I mean yeah it is creepy I guess.
Mrdrnose, you HAVE TO SLOW VIKTOR THE F*CK DOWN IN BRANIAC MODE DURING THE FINAL CHASE, ESPECIALLY THE SPEED AT WHICH HE CHANGES HIS JACKET, BECAUSE HE CHANGES IT AT 0.3 SECONDS UPON OPENING THE BATHROOM DOOR! Have you ever even tried to beat braniac? Seriously, it's like he caught you holding a knife or an Albert part and super maxed him out during the final chase (even though he never did see me with any of them, it always happens when you get 10 questions wrong, regardless of whether or not they are the 5th problem in the notebook or a solvable problem), and I didn't even get a single notebook problem wrong with Albert's help. He's not even that fast in boi or default mode's final chase. I got all 10 notebooks like 6 times in braniac and I keep dying before reaching the 11th notebook because the notebook is either too close to the bathroom or placed in the rooms past Mr. Mix's door that I cannot make it to the notebook in time when he goes to change, since the final notebook is now scattered and it is no longer stationarily found in the first classroom, which is really dumb, considering that Devon found it because it was already close enough to him once the final chase commenced, making the concept of finding the final notebook placed randomly around the school instead of stationary completely luck-based instead of fair. Have you even seen my Youtube videos yet of me trying to find the 11th notebook (Youtuber name is the same as my itch.io profile: Pluto Neon)? If only there was a way to get Viktor to change in the locker rooms near the courtyard instead of the bathroom only ( and make him change slower), giving you more opportunities to locate notebooks near the punishment room and past the litter-filled room, like adding a second neodymium magnet to the math level where you can put it on the bathroom door and forcing Viktor to change in the locker rooms instead. Maybe you could place the 2 neodymium magnets on the locker room doors by default upon starting the level, and depending on which door you place the magnet on, Viktor will be forced to change in one out of 3 rooms, either locker room 1, locker room 2, or the bathroom, depending on which is the closest unlocked changing room. I just really don't want to resort to using the trashcan glitch from the previous builds, I actually want to beat braniac mode challengingly fair and have it made less luck-based.
Pluto Neon, I decided to take a couple shots at brainiac with Albert. Didn't take as long as I thought... 1st screenshot is what you'll see on the exam (Kept typing 6 because I thought the answers was a long line of 6's); 2nd screenshot was after completing the exam with Viktor and Albert present.
I had 2 close calls. I got the last 3 notebooks entirely wrong. I got no cake.
Well, I read about this new character, Librarian. First of all, she looks a little bit like Karen from Spongebob to me. And second, since she hates Viktor, I imagine her being like this, when he just taps her shoulder...
No, you don't get the belt by dashing through Freek-a-del'ka, the belt is located near the center of the maze on the ground, but you have to be on high alert for the monster and watch out and hide when you hear its nearby squeaky footsteps. It's a game of hide-and-seek and hider must seek the prize before the seeker(Freek) seeks you. When the wiki says you have to have the courage to face the labyrinth and Freek head-on, it means you need to have the big balls necessary to enter such a scary maze with a terrifying Minotaur-like monster in it without chickening out if you want to search the belt. I've had high-blood pressure entering the labyrinth out of paranoia from the silent ambiance and I almost get heart-attacks when I hear the squeaky footsteps rushing at me that terrify the sh*t out of me when they pop out of the silence.
Oh, and as for the children, occasionally you'll find silhouettes of people gliding through the corridors, but they're VERY faint to see and are barely visible through the dark yellow hallways. The easiest place to see them is in Mr. Mix's cafe where the silhouettes contrast the white walls of the room a little better than the yellow ones.
I remember there being a compass item in the bunker, which located certain notebooks at a time in the language level, but I can't seem to find it again, maybe it's because items no longer float and drop to the floor, maybe it was secluded by a few 2D barrels. The last time I found it, it was in a certain dead end corridor of the bunker, not in a room. Maybe y'all can use this compass to locate notebooks a lot easier in the language level, if you can find it and get out of the bunker fast enough before Phonty and Antibreather catch you, and hopefully Marzia isn't there near Phonty's room, because she killed me once when I returned to wind Phonty after only 2 notebooks were collected.

Helpscreen. Because we both like cats and we have so much in common. If the protagonist wasn't silent, Helpscreen would make a great partner for casual conversations.
Why do you like the literally most annoying character? My favorite one so far is Marzia, because I think it‘s kinda cute how she walks and honestly, so far she was not even a threat. Viktor is cool, but he just tortured me to much. And I like the song Doggos „sings“, but if you don‘t see or hear him in time, it’s game over, and if someone is hunting you, it‘s also bad, if Doggos is near. So yeah, my favorite is Marzia.
My favourite Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski characters are Marzia and Phonty. Phonty because of his music, Marzia because of how cute she is.
If only you could gather some paper (from the cookies or trashcans) and place them in your mouth, maybe 2 papers together, slobber them up into a big nasty ass slimy paper spitball, and just spit it at Viktor like a chocolate muffin, making braniac mode a shit-ton a lot easier.
I tried to make a melon piece trail down that long hallway (halfway or so), and ran over to that area during the chase scene. Hoping Marzia would follow that trail.
If she did, I would run back to the elevator with plenty of time to re-input/input new numbers in the elevator. If she didn't, rest in peace. Marzia ate one piece and stopped in place...sadly...and killed me after I ran a certain distance away.
Pieces were close to each other, got all possible right answers in the language notebooks, this was a failed attempt without Viktor.
To answer both of your questions. Yes, the hallway ends at some point, just keep walking. And the watermelon spawns in a random trashcan, one on the math and language level.
I think I now know a lot more about; maybe too much; what Alice wants from her boss and her children and why she likes this music so much that she'd put it in the elevator.
I kind of doubt this theory as I feel like it was just kind of a joke by Mrdrnose just because of how strange the music was it feels slightly creepy. Also, the fact that it is a slowed down version of the original makes me think that it wouldn't make sense. We can't make any real decisions though until Mrdrnose edits the likes/dislikes section of the wiki himself and hear more of Alice's voice clips from the version of the hisory level that is completable. Nice theory, btw!

While I was playing on the math level (I haven't got to the others yet - I explored language a tiny bit) I heard a sirenish war alarm noise. It stopped when I paused the game so it was definitely the game. What does this mean?
Yeah, that‘s what I meant. That‘s what I heard, too. I don‘t think it means anything, yet. Maybe it‘s a feature for the new update or it‘s just something that‘s randomly there, to scare the player. Or maybe it has something to do with the lore? 🤔🤷🏻♀️

Well, I died and stopped my recording. When I clicked back into the game, I heard it. That happened in language level. Another person heard it, when they were looking through a trashcan, also in language I think and another person heard it, when they were solving a notebook in math level. So I guess the siren happens randomly.
Great... Right after I stopped my recording (because I died to Marzia, because of Cleany again), I heard that siren some people were talking about. I wish I could have recorded it...

MrDrNose. If there isn't going to be over 20 notebooks in later levels, red an old comment over this. Do less notebooks per teacher mean the anger and difficulty are scaled higher?
Ex: Viktor getting twice as angry for each wrong answer and the first math notebook starting with three numbers on default.

I get home from school and the first thing I see on the webpage are 15,000 different updates of the game that I missed. This is a dream come true!
So in search of the black key (am I right thinking it's in the room just behind the barricade? and I need to get Mr. Cleany to open it?), I decided to wander around and get some tapes to see why the tape room is prohibited. And I found that each tape has it's own properties. Each tape found in a specific place plays some specific random stuff. I also didn't really understand any of the tapes. So I went and took screenshots of my tape collecting saga:

Then Mr. Cleany streaked in and took away my tape from the corner.Ugh...I had another one about having this long one in the background but I think I overwrote it. It's obviously a YouTube video that I don't understand because it's in Russian. And all I could think was "naaaaaaaaaani?"At this point I turned to open the door and I walked straight into Viktor's face and got cut open. :DThis one made more sense than the others, but also less sense in the sense that it's like "why is this here?" I mean yeah it is creepy I guess.

Mrdrnose, you HAVE TO SLOW VIKTOR THE F*CK DOWN IN BRANIAC MODE DURING THE FINAL CHASE, ESPECIALLY THE SPEED AT WHICH HE CHANGES HIS JACKET, BECAUSE HE CHANGES IT AT 0.3 SECONDS UPON OPENING THE BATHROOM DOOR! Have you ever even tried to beat braniac? Seriously, it's like he caught you holding a knife or an Albert part and super maxed him out during the final chase (even though he never did see me with any of them, it always happens when you get 10 questions wrong, regardless of whether or not they are the 5th problem in the notebook or a solvable problem), and I didn't even get a single notebook problem wrong with Albert's help. He's not even that fast in boi or default mode's final chase. I got all 10 notebooks like 6 times in braniac and I keep dying before reaching the 11th notebook because the notebook is either too close to the bathroom or placed in the rooms past Mr. Mix's door that I cannot make it to the notebook in time when he goes to change, since the final notebook is now scattered and it is no longer stationarily found in the first classroom, which is really dumb, considering that Devon found it because it was already close enough to him once the final chase commenced, making the concept of finding the final notebook placed randomly around the school instead of stationary completely luck-based instead of fair. Have you even seen my Youtube videos yet of me trying to find the 11th notebook (Youtuber name is the same as my itch.io profile: Pluto Neon)? If only there was a way to get Viktor to change in the locker rooms near the courtyard instead of the bathroom only ( and make him change slower), giving you more opportunities to locate notebooks near the punishment room and past the litter-filled room, like adding a second neodymium magnet to the math level where you can put it on the bathroom door and forcing Viktor to change in the locker rooms instead. Maybe you could place the 2 neodymium magnets on the locker room doors by default upon starting the level, and depending on which door you place the magnet on, Viktor will be forced to change in one out of 3 rooms, either locker room 1, locker room 2, or the bathroom, depending on which is the closest unlocked changing room. I just really don't want to resort to using the trashcan glitch from the previous builds, I actually want to beat braniac mode challengingly fair and have it made less luck-based.

No, you don't get the belt by dashing through Freek-a-del'ka, the belt is located near the center of the maze on the ground, but you have to be on high alert for the monster and watch out and hide when you hear its nearby squeaky footsteps. It's a game of hide-and-seek and hider must seek the prize before the seeker(Freek) seeks you. When the wiki says you have to have the courage to face the labyrinth and Freek head-on, it means you need to have the big balls necessary to enter such a scary maze with a terrifying Minotaur-like monster in it without chickening out if you want to search the belt. I've had high-blood pressure entering the labyrinth out of paranoia from the silent ambiance and I almost get heart-attacks when I hear the squeaky footsteps rushing at me that terrify the sh*t out of me when they pop out of the silence.
Oh, and as for the children, occasionally you'll find silhouettes of people gliding through the corridors, but they're VERY faint to see and are barely visible through the dark yellow hallways. The easiest place to see them is in Mr. Mix's cafe where the silhouettes contrast the white walls of the room a little better than the yellow ones.

I remember there being a compass item in the bunker, which located certain notebooks at a time in the language level, but I can't seem to find it again, maybe it's because items no longer float and drop to the floor, maybe it was secluded by a few 2D barrels. The last time I found it, it was in a certain dead end corridor of the bunker, not in a room. Maybe y'all can use this compass to locate notebooks a lot easier in the language level, if you can find it and get out of the bunker fast enough before Phonty and Antibreather catch you, and hopefully Marzia isn't there near Phonty's room, because she killed me once when I returned to wind Phonty after only 2 notebooks were collected.

My favourite Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski characters are Marzia and Phonty. Phonty because of his music, Marzia because of how cute she is.
If only you could gather some paper (from the cookies or trashcans) and place them in your mouth, maybe 2 papers together, slobber them up into a big nasty ass slimy paper spitball, and just spit it at Viktor like a chocolate muffin, making braniac mode a shit-ton a lot easier.

I tried to make a melon piece trail down that long hallway (halfway or so), and ran over to that area during the chase scene. Hoping Marzia would follow that trail.
If she did, I would run back to the elevator with plenty of time to re-input/input new numbers in the elevator. If she didn't, rest in peace. Marzia ate one piece and stopped in place...sadly...and killed me after I ran a certain distance away.
Pieces were close to each other, got all possible right answers in the language notebooks, this was a failed attempt without Viktor.
Does this hallway even have an end? If so, where does it lead to?
And, is there a certain place to find the watermelon? Because I only found it once, and that was in math level in a trash of the staff only room.
To answer both of your questions. Yes, the hallway ends at some point, just keep walking. And the watermelon spawns in a random trashcan, one on the math and language level.

I think I now know a lot more about; maybe too much; what Alice wants from her boss and her children and why she likes this music so much that she'd put it in the elevator.
I kind of doubt this theory as I feel like it was just kind of a joke by Mrdrnose just because of how strange the music was it feels slightly creepy. Also, the fact that it is a slowed down version of the original makes me think that it wouldn't make sense. We can't make any real decisions though until Mrdrnose edits the likes/dislikes section of the wiki himself and hear more of Alice's voice clips from the version of the hisory level that is completable. Nice theory, btw!
