If I don't earn the braniac ending tomorrow, I will research how to code and hack a game and mod a gun item into the game and shoot EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MRDRNOSE! Viktor gets changed in .5 SECONDS IN BRANIAC FINAL CHASE! I GOT ALL 10 NOTEBOOKS 3 TIMES TODAY AND DIED BECAUSE VIKTOR CHANGES TOO FAST WHEN I PASS BY THE BATHROOM CORRIDOR! YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THIS TO A LONGER CHANGING PERIOD BECAUSE THIS IS JUST STUPID! DO NOT IGNORE ME NOSY!
That happened a lot when I made attempts on Brainiac. I forgot the magnet a couple times, which costed the run, had 4/5 exam questions answered. Viktor changing his jacket so fast forced me to use so many lemon-berries. I sometimes dodge runs if too many notebooks spawn in the middle 6 rooms, just for a greater chance at getting a good exam location.
Funny thing is I didn't get any of the 4 normal questions on all 10 notebooks wrong, I listened to Albert the whole time even on the 6-10th notebook to minimize Viktor's speed and using the warp doors and searching the farther corridors while Viktor is on the other side of the school to buy me more time, but when the final chase commenced, he was as fast as if he saw me with the knife/Albert parts which he never did! He is also impossible to juke in any corridor in the final chase without an anti-Viktor item! His speed is 4 times faster than on boi and default difficulty!
How little difference it makes on the math levels highest difficulty really hurts.
The language level does this sorta thing better, you can miss a couple of letters and be fine, missing every letter however will insta-kill you during the chase sequence.
I got 10 notebooks again and I died trying to juke Viktor in the hallway with the barricade! For some reason, in braniac, when you collect all 10 notebooks, his speed is already maxed out like when he sees you with a knife or Albert parts, and I got none of the normal questions wrong with Albert, unlike boi and default where he's a bit slower in the final chase! Also, when Albert phases through the magnet locked door, he STOLE THE MAGNET AND OPENED THE FUCKING DOOR AND I LOST IT!
Hey Mrdrnose do you have any idea when you will add a difficulty setting in the language level? I am really struggling to beat it and i really want to play the history level
With Albert. I took off the magnet from the 10th notebook door in storage room, but I forgot to pick it up. Then the final notebook spawned in that same room, I splashed soda on Viktor, I was about to pick up magnet, but I didn't realize inventory was full, and I did not react fast enough. Viktor changed quickly in just ONE second, then he got me as I was about to drop an item. I'm uploading the video later today.

so ima go into full detail on this dream that i had. so i dont remember the start, but im like a school-hotel-funhouse? theres this teacher-receptionist thats like following us and trapping us for us not to get a book? a book im like... ha get rekd i got the book. and then SHE PULLS OUT A FREAKING KNIFE AND STARTS CHASING US? so im like oof gotta RUSH DOWN TO THE FIRST FLOOR OUT OF 10 AND GET THE POLICE CONVENIENTLY JUST STANDING THERE? so i take the stairs when theres an elevator right there idk why? and i enter some weird rooms where i climb stuff? i never see the teacher person at all but i get to the elevator, make to the first floor, and i say POLICE HURRY PLEASE! also the first floor transformed into mountains and parks? also the elevator started taking me back up and im like NO HELP ME! so the police then start saying THERES A PERSON TRYING TO JUMP! so i jump and i dont die? so then a bus arrives WITH THE TEACHER PERSON ON IT, ON FIRE???? she gets out... and sets me on fire? i die. AND AFTER ALL OF THAT. A MAN'S DEEP DISTORTED VOICE SAYS....

It is the only stamina replenishing item in the level, there is an infinite source for them outside in the woods. I kinda find it funny how you are ignoring most of the image except the mushroom (and yes, there is an achievement dedicated to them, but Alice doesn't eat them).
That was literally what I was thinking xD. I was going to livestream soon today, and I was going to show the level off to everyone. I was going to show off the nuclear pigeon but got the idea that maybe I should not show how to get it as you can abuse the item to your advantage fairly easily.
I really don't blame you for thinking that. It blew my eardrums out when I used it, I just wish it had a lockpick feature as well as "nuke the school." button
Weird problem, when I use the magnet on a door and Albert phases through it, it makes an electric sound and when I take off the magnet to open the door, it won't let me open it! And why does Viktor sometimes break down the magnetized door very fast while other times it takes him more time to do it, regardless of wrong questions answered?
It might just be an RNG thing, like sometimes you get more lucky than other times with how long it takes. There isn't a deciding factor that I know of for how long it takes Viktor to open the door.
I fixed issue with controls, and they now can be re binded (click "bind key" button and then choose any key from keyboard or mouse, "default" button will automatically set default key)(also fixed art room authors)
ok. anybody. what version did mix beat language level on? and how to get the knife again i keep forgetting sorry lol. but if i can use the elevator glitch, and put down a ton of melon after doing the final notebook i can do it without viktor which would be nice. but thats all i want to know because then i could probably beat the game on language mode.
I still haven't been able to play the new update at all, as I am on vacation at the moment and haven't gotten access to my computer I use the play the game (which also has my progress I've made), and you make the new level seem very interesting. Do you have to go out of your way to find the librarian?

I downloaded the new update on my laptop, and I looked at the new speed system. I think the new speed system is rather OP, as you go very fast after running as opposed to breathing, and it kind of makes the game too easy. I cant beat level 1 on my laptop because I don't have a mouse and when I got to RUST I couldn't find the belt anywhere, even where it used to be. So I can't beat the game until I get home from vacation, rip. I think that I prefered the old speed system better, and that you should go back to the old one.
I have the new update, but I still have the belt, and I noticed no change in speed whatsoever. Maybe it's because I'm playing it on the itch app I downloaded, instead of opening up the rar file. Also, you can buy a laptop-compatible mouse at the store like Best Buy or Walmart that you can attach to your laptop. It saves you all the trouble of painful stinging touch-pad radiation.
After you run, you still go at a relatively fast speed, faster than whenever you breath. Usually you slow down to a very slow speed and in order to speed up again you must breath, but now breathing feels useless. Also, I am playing on my laptop on vacation and I couldn't find the belt anywhere, so yeah, I am stuck without it. I don't mind, though, because I don't play on my laptop, I play on my PC at home.
Ok couple questions Mrdrnose. In the patch notes you said new character, what level is this character in? Same with the new items? Also you said new achievements but in the achievement section there is no new slots.
Mrdrnose please change back the garbage cans, they are so annoying now. You actually have to look down at them to use them and the hitbox for them is weird. Plus can you please add a settings menu please?

OH MY GOSH, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was so scared that people would beat level 3 without me! Also, something a bit random, but please don't incorporate creepypastas into the game, like Zalgo or Jeff the Killer or anything. It would kill the game for me, as I don't need another creepypasta fangame (The Smile Dog and other things are okay as is, but a full blown character is too far. Random idea, I know, but I'm just worried about it becoming a reality).
I just meant like a full-blown teacher or important character or something related to lore or anything. Like, in the end of the game the final reveal is that "Jeff the killer is behind it" or something stupid like that. I don't mind the references, though.
Nah, I don‘t think the ending is going to be that stupid or has something to do with creepypasta or SCP at all. The creepypasta references so far are really awesome, tbh. I like that Mr. Mix is in the game, because he is like the perfect character for a creepy education game like this. (Please don‘t remove him or anything... :( He‘s one of my favorites.)
A friend of mine had the theory, that this whole school is just a big SCP test chamber, but nah, that’s probably not going to be it. The only theory I have is that all of them are demons that can‘t control theirselfs, they probably didn‘t even want to kill so many students. (Not sure why the police is taking so long, tho.) And Viktor is probably like that, because he got badly abused by his mother, who could be the grandma ghost. Those are my theories right now.
The school cook is literally Mr. Mix, there‘s a picture of Smile Dog, black mucus is running down the wall an Viktor says: „You should not have done this.“ (which is the biggest reason why I‘m still most afraid of viktor, because Ben drowned is one hell of a creepy motherf*****.) Oh, and H-Teacher’s face looks like Jeff now, but I guess everyone prefers her old face, me too. So what else do you want more?
It's really unfair how 1 person who completed braniac mode was able to do it with a glitch, and 1 other person tried to let the chase commence but incorrectly rushed on the last 3 notebooks, yet I cannot even do it with Albert's help and try to keep up with Mr. Mix and avoid Viktor's sonic silent footsteps and timing the soda spray when he charges at me.
so like just go back to an older version? im just saying you could do that anyway. but its not really unfair as you could have done it at the time. you can do it now if you go back aswell

When I was searching trashcans, a siren alarm randomly played, it eventually stopped.
And, red some comments about the history level. I felt stupid not realizing what to do with the pigeon, reading posts help. (Explosions!)

You can turn off and on the monitor screen if you are on pc, it usually disables all current sounds, like ambiance or music (or anything, really).
