I really wish this game would get made for consoles but i don't think it would ever happen. My pc is bad and im not a fan of playing on pc over console so i hope one day it gets a console port if possible
It would be a huge commitment to release a game on console, and it would probably cost a lot more money than the game is likely to make. It's possible that it could happen in a much later stage of development, but I feel like a console port isn't happening for years.
Any items with yellow or red text (there's no difference between those two colors in functionality) can be stored in the belt as an artifact. Also, regular black lockpicks can now be stored in the belt as artifacts (they still break randomly, but they will reappear in your inventory unbroken again when you restart a level), making the "Complete Albert" mission or obtaining the rusty knife much less frustrating.
this may be a dumb question but to get the black key is the only way and intended way to use the cleaning dude exploit type thing? It's been so long since i played i forgot a lot of stuff lol
If you don't already have the black key in your belt, then yes, that is the only way, but things are much easier now. There are now blue and yellow paper notebooks found in random classrooms that can each be shredded into several papers, saving you time from having to collect other trash to make a trail for Cleany. Remember to have at least 1 lockpick with you (there are also uncommon steel lockpicks now, but they cannot be stored in the belt like the black ones) to open the locker with the black door key (remember which locker it is). One more thing, WHEN YOU SAVE ITEMS TO YOUR BELT, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO PRESS F WHILE THE BELT IS OPEN, OR ELSE YOU WILL LOSE EVERY ARTIFACT YOU RECENTLY COLLECTED IN YOUR CURRENT RUN WHEN YOU RESTART, EXIT, OR BEAT A LEVEL!!! NEVER FORGET TO SAVE YOUR BELT ITEMS WITH LEFT ALT+F!!!
After a good long time I've decided to come back to this game and Oh Wow have things changed!
- Updated models of some things. Including 3D models of Phonty (His horn looks a little weird though) and the Librarian. (The wiki says her name is Erie)
-Water Fountains to regain stamina! Thank you mrdrnose!
-The History Level has finally gotten some more content.
-That Freakin Puppet has been removed and replaced by a Nutcracker who is much more manageable.
-The Head Teacher is still wearing that silly cat costume.
- And there's apparently now a fourth level after completing History. Looks like I better get back to playing!
Welcome back, i had just come back too. There is so many new and crazy stuff from last time i played, mrdrnose has done a lot with the game its pretty crazy
Don't forget a store, new interactive title screen, over 100 new items, 2 new secret areas, physics, fixed grammar, bonus levels, Scrina cameo, electricity, big chungus, blood and injury mechanics, parkour, working gardening system, literal robot guardians, radiation, the ability to take off Erie's clothes, and so much more
Okay, I have some ideas for the notebooks. We aren't even getting into my curriculum and other subject ideas here (which would be very good), just the currently-existing notebooks.
First, pausing the game will reload any unsolved notebook problems (or restart the notebook in History).
Secondly, if you make a mistake, you can go back to the task and try to solve it correctly to reduce the teacher's anger by 1. However, if you make more mistakes, the teacher will become angrier accordingly.
Because of that, in math and history notebooks, you can click on examples to select them (except for ones you haven't reached yet).
You might also be able to put notebooks in your inventory. If taking up slots is too much of a problem, you could have them in seperate slots, or have a deposit for the notebooks you collect. That way, you can also use them again to look through problems you've solved. You should also be able to "return" any notebook.
I also think the notebook UI should be like those of the rest of the items, and dim the background instead of replacing it with black. That way, you can look up at the door while solving a notebook and make the final chase more cinematic if you want.
Lights are missing in some rooms (actually, make that everywhere except SCP-398 and the Math Level)

Actually, items sometimes can't be picked up (only seen with items already on the ground thus far)
Sometimes the ropes glitch out and make you move backwards or more slowly (I think they should be activated automatically when there's no solid ground under you, so you can land on them or just move without having to jump off and on)
Knocking the computer off the desk so that the screen can't be interacted with softlocks the game (and there are deep secret spoilers in the main menu now. This isn't funny. Allie certainly doesn't think it's funny. I told you man)

There are too many holes in the floor and blood at the door for any Lil Puss to be inconspicuous
Gap at right bookshelf still exists to dodge Erie trigger
Erie can bump up and down stairs with a tyre (not even cogs or claws, both of which have been replaced. She jiggled at the staircase separator because of it. I think the balcony should also have a ramp)
Stairs are sometimes just too high to climb without jumping
Alice just ran along the wall to me for no reason (I don't think I'll even begin to really bother with History until Alice's behaviour becomes noticeably systematic and orderly)
Elevator doors don't shut all the way
I think the balcony stairs should have a handrail, and also join onto itself in a loop so Alice can't get you trapped.
After throwing a muffin at Viktor, he stopped moving and didn't talk (which is even worse than the part where there are muffins everywhere).
Cleany was stuck in place outside the Transit room
Punishment room door was unlocked during second punishment
Ok so i just had a glitch happen idk if anyone has reported this yet but in the middle of talking to Mr.Mix the cleaning skeleton dude brushed him away and made talking to Mr.Mix impossible and softlocked me. Also i may be dumb but how do i use the belt thing again? It has been so long since i have done this lmao. Also what is the purpose of all the random buttons around the school? I have so many questions there is so much new stuff lmao

I used to be very active on this game and comments idk if anyone remembers me or not but i havent had played the game in a long time until just now and holy hell i feel like the game got completely reworked and it looks and feels amazing, big props to Mrdrnose for doing so well with updating the game and adding so much to it and giving the game so much care becuase this game is truly a masterpiece and deserves it! To him, each older version is like a progressive layer of descent into a radioactive garbage pit hole. You go look at versions like 0.19 on YouTube.
Oh and they were active for a week when he said he'd bring them all back in Discord. There are other archives in there.

it sucks though because AEwVS would be great on console, and if it got enough recognition it could become really successful
