Confusing controls that want to mix keyboard and mouse in the most awkward way possible, feels not particularly nice to play. Looting was also a chore - the bookshelves could display all the items visibly, but because there is no way to look vertically up and down, we have to go into a mouse controlled menu instead of just being able to look at each item with our character.
Nothing is explained, I have no idea how any of the mechanics work, and I randomly died to a massive explosion that happened as soon as I walked into a room.
This is my favorite kind of game. you are SUPPOSED to fail, and flounder and try to survive, and be confused and scared. whats the fun of already knowing how to play? This game , and voices of the void are all about discovery.
Do you still have plans to work on this game more in the future? I love the idea of many of your games being in the same universe with references to each other and it excites me to think about more crossovers between them and what it means plot-wise. Also this game is very interesting and appealing to me, albeit a little confusing and difficult when starting out.
Question, How can you tell you are attacking, I'm trying to hit a spider with an Axe, but It keeps saying you aren't attacking because of damaged and I can't tell if I'm attacking or not?
Player makes specific "swing" sound when attacking You can't attack while getting damage (when screen goes red tinted) I will think about damage indication
Here's a good tip: go into settings and lower the game's ambiance/ background sounds so that way there will be a spike in volume when an enemy approaches you, helping you detect them easier.
I FOUND A BIG BUG: ok so, i got a gold skull out of a room with a jewel that causes magnetic attract, i've died some seconds later and then selled the skull to the shop machine, i got rich, i bought a hint machine then died because i forgot i had magnetic attract and a time bomb got attracted to me and i exploded, after that, i went into the room that had that skull again, and the skull was there! but it caused a different effect (i think it was fear and then something about curse look) but this time when i had it i made it to the elevator and i selled it to the shop machine while the curse of the skull was still going, i bought a package bank and then i put it next to the elevator and i died some seconds later, then i went into the room again and i got the skull but that time i died before selling it, when i respawned, the bank dissapeared, and when i got my items back from the last corpse, i noticed that the other corpse, got items again, for some reason the second and third corpses that i left when i died from the skull, had their items again, the third one makes sense since it was the last one, but for some reason the second one got his items again, even tho i remember i took them out of it, so now i have all of my items duplicated by 2
I think i got a bug: I was killing some bats in a little cave that i entered through a crack and i got the achievement "Friend Killer A" but i got "achievement bee A" at the same time even tho i wasnt even close to any bee and i got stung only once in another room some hours ago
I lost almost all of my stuff to a spider because the items were inside some cobwebs and it was very hard to get it back so i quitted the game without saving then entered again and the game literally broke the forth wall lol

If you "shortcut the death" or some other criterium that the game probably thinks you're trying to do a thing, you get permanently softlocked on a screen with Erie looking at you in disdain
