I played until day 10 and i have to say the game is really interesting. Nice atmosphere and mechanics, they encourage you to continue and discover as many signs as possible. The only thing that in my opinion could be changed is the recovery of sleep in bed, it seems to me very slow compared to the hours that pass, perhaps accelerating the recovery could be better
Well, I've been playing for around eight hours and I have to say that I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the mechanics, once you get used to them everything progresses quite smoothly. Some of the events really took me off guard and one signal actually managed to creep me out, lmao. I'll definitely stick around for eventual future updates. I'd like to point out a small issue: while using the laptop the mouse cursor stops working and gets stuck often, and I have to exit and reuse the laptop.
Really intriguing, but I don't understand one thing: I happened to go to sleep and a thunderstorm broke out and the power went out... that's normal, right? I mean, I'm the one who has to figure out how to restore the power, right? I get the doubt because the radar is still on and beeps as usual, then when I interact with something (e.g. servers) I can still do it (the grid appears with all the math questions to solve).
Hey mrdrnose, im considering doing a full playthrough of this game on my channel as its super interesting. Would you be able to reveal any horror elements or scares this game has? feel free to add me on discord Boochie#1982
I played your game and I honestly loved it. It took some time to figure out how to use the dials and fix the satellites through the console, but once you figure it out it becomes so addicting. I haven't encountered any bugs so far. the only thing I had trouble with was the console, I had to to go through the tutorial again to re-listen to the speaker voice to fully understand how to use the console to fix the satellites. And for anyone who has trouble figuring out the console firstly type "sd.calch" then type "sd.cal (name)"
It has to be done in this order to recalibrate the satellites. OVERALL AMAZING GAME I cant wait to see future updates.
One thing id recommend adjusting is the file processing and downloading times. I often found myself caught up on the servers and consoles and just be waiting around for the downloads or processing. But overall everything is amazing about the game.
I got stuck on the signal download screen. Could not get the dials to work right, no idea what I needed the numbers to be. Also can't see the screen while adjusting the numbers.
Was kinda shocked by all the audio assets being from HL2.
The keyboard commands feel out of place and uncomfortable.
I can definitely vibe with the design choices.
Seems like this has potential and has a lot of work put into it so far.
This game is super. super cool. I went in expecting horror elements but didnt make it that far. I think I ran into a glitch when trying to play the signals. It wouldnt save to the drive. I kept getting a yellow light.
Are there supposed to be any horror elements? This is really well made and I could see this being a full $20 game on steam.
If you save the signal through the laptop you will get a "copy" of a signal which cant be sold but processed later, after you download the signal press bottom green button, it will display it on the second screen, then press left yellow button to save it on a drive, the light on a drive should be green
There is some "horror elements" in a form of events, atmosphere and objects on the map

On the console, I can't see what I'm typing because there is a black bar in the way. I'm not sure how to fix that or if it's a bug or something.
Ill fix this in demo03
in the newest version i cant seem to attune the signals i look at the knobs and hit "E" but nothing changes
you have to hold E and use the mouse wheel to change it
That's the one combo I didn't try. Thank you that's working
so im trying to play on a wide screen and i cant see what im typing on the console
Yeah ik ill fix it in demo03
What requirements is nedded to play well?
well idk the minimum requirements but at least directX11\12 so it can launch the game lol
from hardware i have GeForce GTX 1060 and it runs VotV at stable 60 fps on default graphics settings

As another player of VOTV, yes!, it's a normal event that happens, you have to restore the power and then fix all the servers.
Thank you very much for your reply :D So tonight I will try to figure out how to get the power back on!
The game don't save the other days,is It right because Is a demo?
The game should save up to 12 days
wow

Eyy nice
Well if i tell you the scares it won't be that interesting
The only thing i can say there's no cheap jumpscares or screamers, and approximate play time is about 9-8 hours

Yeah some things should be explained abit deeper but i plan to remake the tutorial in the future

Alright, i make it ~20% faster in demo 0.2
fun fact aliens in this game are not gray or marcianitos lol
I'm interested in another signal simulator. Maybe it will be worth a look once it is fully developed.
Thanks ❤️👽 If it'll get enough support it might become a full game, cus i have alot of plans that are quite time and energy consuming oof
I completely understand.

You can look at the screen while adjusting the numbers, hold E, look at the screen and use mouse wheel
Yeah hl2 sounds are æstetic
Keyboard console commands just adds extra feeling of doing something important lol
I spend more than a month working on it but like 5-6 hours every day lmao
Thankk for the feedback 💓❤️
