Have you changed the polarity filter and frequency filter? If you don't change them, the download speed will be 0. I hope this helped solve the problem.
detector % is simply detecting the type of signal, its image, its quality and size; you must actually download the signal as a separate % by adjusting filter and polarity to near 100% accuracy (I believe it's multiplicative so 100% filter accuracy with 0% polarity accuracy is still 0% download speed, you need both), but both your detector status and download must finish to actually save the signal as the drives need the detector info too to tell you the type of signal it is with its telescope image.
well I dont know exacly name of that higher thing but I have that on 0% because I dont know hot to set that, that frequency is 100% but the other thing no so at least I know where is problme thx :)
I've had the game for only 2 days, and I only have 1 problem which basically makes the game unplayable. Every time I go on a screen (To fix a server, on the computer) the game thinks that my mouse is somewhere else than where it actually is, so I don't know what I'm clicking. Yes, I have tried re-downloading the game, restarting, or anything like that, but it's still the same.
Well, it probably will fix it since I have actually changed the resolution from the original one to 2560x1440 but if when you change it to that it's not playable it shouldn't really be an option in the settings.
you may try adding your exact monitor resolution to the res.txt file at roaming>local>votv>assets>res.txt, and entering fullscreen by hitting f11 if it's still not a graphics setting. If these don't work, you will have to settle for playing at a slightly smaller window than your native resolution in windowed mode instead of fullscreen, which shouldn't have any UI and cursor issues.
Anyone else having pretty major performance issues after the latest update? I hadn't updated to 0.6.3b until a few days ago, and since then it's way more stuttery.
When I was playing it, I noticed that over time, drawdowns in fps began. But the graphics settings were set to full. By lowering the shadows and some settings, the load on the video dropped to 40% from 99%
Yea thats a problem, never had this problem back in 0.6.0 and before. It gets to 30-40 FPS even tho I put almost the lowest graphic settings, while my PC can handle smoothly RDR2 on mid settings.
After spending more than 30 hours passing and studying the game, I was as satisfied as possible with what is now available from the content. I really want to see a more open storyline, characters, new creatures. But even now I have spent more than a week in this wonderful game with incredible pleasure. I am looking forward to the release of this game, although I understand that I will have to wait a very long time. It's worth it.

as much as i wanna agree, there should be about twice as many tasks that you have to manage, you can easily solo everything, and with 2 people its brainless, so i dont know whether its even fun at that point, let alone scary
This only makes sense in the future, when there will be enough content in the game and the task will not consist of two daily tasks. At this stage, multiplayer is not needed, I agree completely.

Several times I've been in the middle of performing tasks and calling in the drone, then end up with this black screen. Nothing happens afterwards, no UI, no visual, no main menu, no reaction with body (even ragdolling), just the dark and the ambient noise. Forces me to reload the whole thing from the start.
I'm gonna put this out there, I do not like the main option of reporting bugs or issues in a specific Discord. I do think having a forum of some sort would be nice to have as well, cause what's the point of joining a server im never going to interact with other than posting bugs?
That being said, Omega Kerfur gets stuck 100% of the time when trying to fix transformers that have those shoddy wooden fences outside of them. Her pathing does not allow her to move around them or get unstuck. She just stands there looking at the transformer room. I don't know if the fences are destructible. But that kinda cuts her function down.

That's what I started with. Administration, please help me solve this problem, I already saw a message with a similar problem 1 year ago, but there is no answer there, which means they either helped solve it or didn’t solve it at all... I hope that it’s still the first option... Alternative loading doesn't work "Javascript:void(0)"
Did you extract the game from the archive with 7zip? Also try going to C: Users > Your device name > AppData > Local > VotV > Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor - open 'GameUserSettings.ini' and change settings there. If you can't see hidden files like AppData, or file name extensions such as .ini - open your file explorer > click View at the top > tick 'File Name Extensions' & 'Hidden Items'. Don't know if this will help, but there are a surprising amount of people that don't extract the files.
you have to go in the files and do what the coment below said but just to saved. find your save and delet it. this happened to me to and im sorry this happened to you.

are you sure you installed from the right link? make sure you are on this page and click "download now" shown in purple. this will download the most recent version. this version has some issues, however, so when you download the game you may want to click the alternative download mode

I have already managed to download Voice of the void, but I have a new problem, namely that the background is now pixelated and all the settings have been reset to zero, and all the buttons that were bound have disappeared in principle (even when I reset them to factory settings, they are there when I exit the settings return to 0 values).
so i was playing story on day 10 and there were 7 things on my radar. one of them was in the restricted area place on the map. so i went to it and it was a huge bonfire with yellow flames and my character was being pulled toward it and my screen was superglued to the fire as in i could not look away from it. does anyone have a explanation as to what the fuck i just found!?
The game was automatically saved after sending the "evil signal". Is there any chance to undo this action and continue playing on this save or will I have to start all over again?
The catch is that the drive has already been sent by the drone and the game has been saved after its departure from the base. Even if I delete it from the computer, the drone with the red skull signal is already flying from the base and I can't wipe the drive. Maybe there is some console command to remove the drone in flight?
No, but supposedly sending the signal counts as getting rid of it according to some reports. So you may be good as long as you delete it everywhere else. If you still die then your save is fucked.
Simply run the new game .exe and delete the old one's folder whenever you feel like it, it's pretty rare for accidentally starting the old version to ruin anything and it warns you before you load saves so don't stress too much about it.
As for where saves and customizable assets are store, search %appdata% in the windows search bar, which will take you to roaming- go BACK one layer of folders to the actual appdata folder that roaming is in, and go to local>votv and either saved>savegames to back up your saves or >assets to add whatever custom stuff you want- the folders here are labelled fairly straight forward. Use PNGs for picture assets, MP4s for videos, and MP3s for audio, and if you're even more advanced, you can put 3D blender files into the "meshes" folder for the Industrial Printer ingame.

I just started playing game but in my first day when I localised signal and I have detector status on 100% I still cant download that.
Im playing on newest update Pre-Alpha 0.6.3b.

Most likely, you have a very large screen resolution, change it from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080. I do not know if this will help you...

It's either shadows or volumetric lighting, the latter of which I would recommend disabling.

It helps to read everything in the tutorial and also follow the trail that you spawn in on when the actual game starts.

it was there on day 10?? im pretty sure its supposed to be gone after day 1. as to what it is, i dont think anyone has a clue
There's no information about it in the wiki, most likely something new by the dev, it spawns randomly, and can do so multiple times.
no idea how it appeared on the radar either, the restriced zone is out if its range im pretty sure.

The red skull? Just delete it from the PC (if you saved it) and wipe the drives you have this signal saved on.
