Anyone know how to properly change the paintings? I've found the file directory and imported the image I wanted with what I think to be the correct aspect ratio, and it doesn't work. Do you need to make the image super small like the other files? Or is the aspect ratio incorrect? I selected the square file and imported a 1:1 image
Hello. I was able to successfully change them by squishing them down to the original images' pixel size and I named them the same as the original paintings as well as making them all PNG files.
Is there a way to disable certain modules. Bought the server alarm and i really regret buying it now. At least i have something i fear more than the aliens now.
There seems to be a bug with how screens work. Most of the time when I open the laptop, the game automatically clicks where my cursor was at the moment. This can lead to things like buying the 400 ATV solar power module on accident, or deleting signals.
When I try to re-send a report it doesn't count? I sent another box with the right amount of drives but I only receive points for the drives and at the end of the day it says I failed the daily task. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
It's the signal with 'The End is Near' in the text box when you play the signal. I think it's a red astoroid, and the little picture that comes up when you play it is a red skull if I remember correctly
The End is near signal if not deleted (spoiler alert!) will actually trigger a Game over screen with a screen saying that Dr. Kel has been terminated aka Converted so the email from the unknown sender is correct and you should delete it, after some time you will get an email from the sender again saying "Good" meaning you get to live. Sending it off by drone to where ever those people are will also result in the "good" email along with another from them saying is this a joke or something dissapointing.
I bought the drive rack and my frames dropped by like 10 after it arrived. I thought I was going crazy until I threw the drive rack in the trash (AKA deleted it) and my framerate went back to normal. Very weird stuff.
Please keep up the great work, this has become one of my favorite games. I'm super excited to if and when this comes to Steam, as I'll gladly support it. Thank you!
I absolutely love this game and I can't wait to see whats in store for it, there's so much potential here and even if it's just the demo there's a lot you can do and discover, again, really excited for what's in store for this game
does anyone know hoe to fix cursor not disappearing and messing with gameplay. it nulls the right of my screen and makes it impossible to play, or am I just stupid?
If you're talking about the glitch where the cursor shows up randomly and when you click makes you tab out of the game, then simply go to VIDEO and then change the resolution until the problem is fixed.
Genuinely if anyone can help me with this full screen bug I'd appreciate it, I really wanna play the game but it makes it hard to do so, and it stretches on my ultrawide monitor
Sadly I've tried that, it just makes the buttons un-aligned to where they look like on screen! I'd rather just have the game in windowed and I have no clue how to do that
1. have the blue toggle buttons on the left pressed, otherwise nothing will happen
2. click e and scroll on either one of the red buttons next to the toggle buttons (i suggest starting with the right ones as they make the biggest and quickest change), the upper three are for the polarity filter, the lower three are for the frequency filter
3. for the polarity filter, you can either scroll up or down, it doesnt really matter. for the frequency filter, either go up if the offset it really low or go down if its really high
4. wait until you see a change in the output data field. if you dont see a change, click the red polarization button at the top and see if something happens now. if still not, click it once more.
5. you should now be able to perfect both output data fields to 100%
the tutorial is honestly really confusing and overwhelming and it makes the actual gameplay seem really hard but you will get used to it pretty quickly! :) (also i suck at explaining but i hope it helps at least a bit)
Hey dev, I adore this game, but I'm having an issue with full screen, everytime I try and put it in windowed with alt-enter (which is what I want) and i try and play the game, it forces it back into full screen, I can't find a setting for it in the options either, am I doing something wrong?

Would love a linux build for this.
Running it with proton is a good alternative for now. Water is a bit glitchy, otherwise i have no issues with it.

h is 160x128 pixels, and is called 0.
s is 96x96 pixels, and is called pic_s_0.
t is 49x64 pixels, and is called 0.
v is 80x128 pixels, and is called pic_v_0.
It's okay, I figured it out. There were 2 issues: it was 1 pixel... ONE PIXEL away from being a 1:1 ratio, and it was a .jpg

Is there a way to escape the maze at all, aside from alt-f4? My game always crashes once I go down 4-5 levels in it.

I tried that but can't figure out how it works
You must put a single full battery always, for example if you put a battery with 18% charge that's the battery level the drone will have.
does anyone know if theres a possibility to duplicate a save file?
Go to c:\users\(your username)\AppData\Local\VotV\Saved\SaveGames then copy and paste your save, rename to backup or whatever name you prefer

I think that the TV can only play videos that are saved onto your computer. You'll have to download a video to play it on the TV.

i think he spawns randomly, you can really just go around and listen for the maxwell theme
