I phrased it wrong, the game is still a while from completion but we will stop getting so many updates as they are going to focus on getting the game ready to release. They are going to start adding missing features and getting everything in place for play testing, then it will enter alpha.

really hope one day theres some kind of mechanic where if you find certain things they show up in the shop so losing them doesnt softlock the save, i lost all shovels before through unfortunate circumstances and missed out on a bunch of stuff, like the EMF detector that i didnt know about at the time
You can literally just create a new save, go find the shovel (or anything else), put it in the mailbox by the entrance, then save an exit. Then when you go to your main save and open the mailbox the shovel and anything else you put in on the other save will be there.

I've played the game until the day 25 or 26 and saved. Then it crushed and when I loaded my save again, it somehow was a day 29, I was falling from the ceiling in work place on base at night, there was my omega kerfus staring at me, all stamina, food (and money, not sure it changed) points was almost zero, food dissapeared from backpack (not sure it was there too), there was no electricity, some event was happening, all things were floating and being thrown to me and unknown invisible alien were punching me. Why this could happen? Is this normal? Can I fix this somehow? I guess it's because the game wasn't paused and it was launched some amount of time, but then the game crushed and it automatically saved me because of some event (my autosaves were disabled). I don't want to replay so much time so I have to play on with some kind of corrupted save :(

Столкнулся с очень неприятной проблемой,при заходе в игру автоматически устанавливается минимальный предмет графики,т.е все выкручено в ноль,удалились все сейвы и при попытке зайти в обучение просто черный экран с обычным интерфейсов типа голод/ФПС,при этом настройки не меняются. In the Q&A section of this page, you'll see this is a common problem. It's easily fixed thankfully. Go to your settings and regenerate your data.sav. I personally haven't had this problem though, but I hope this fixes it for you. I created this account just so I could respond and help lol, gl.
you can delete it and get the game to automatically regenerate one by going to "C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME)\AppData\Local\VotV\Saved\SaveGames" and deleting "data.sav"

Does everyone experience a bug with unfastening nailed objects? The strange thing is that the small part remains nailed and the large part comes off. I'm just tired of re-attaching all the metal panels to the windows after every reboot.
It's a known problem with nails in the current build of the game. If I remember correctly there's even a notice in the nail's description that says something among the "breaking" and "save game reloading" lines.
You need to buy and undo 2 kerfus's for 5 kerfus parts, 2 plastic scrap , 1 metal scrap, 1 rubber scrap, 1 or 2 electronical scrap and the fishing parts.
The Omega Kerfus manual demands fishing parts to craft them. I don't know if they changed the crafting recipe but mine specifically calls for the fishing parts.
my omega kerfus didnt need any fishing parts and to get the parts back you can dismantle it by placing it on the workbench and interacting with the bench
A question for the experts. One wonderful day, the ATV stopped going, and repair attempts did not lead to a solution. I noticed barrels of fuel, but after applying them to the ATV, they just hit and exploded. HOW DO I GET AN ATV, HELP!!!!!

To Fuel the ATV you need to drag the fuel into the front of it. Not put in your hand but you can drop it with alt + r into to fuel it and DO NOT throw the canisters.
В пк есть прокачка за 400 очков Solar atv battery или как-то так. После нее у тебя квадроцикл будет заряжаться от солнца и необходимость в топливе пропадет
Press Win + R, type `appdata`, press Enter, navigate one folder behind the one that opens, and find the folder that is named as `VotV`. It should be either in `Local`, `LocalLow`, or `Roaming`, I can't really recall right now. Then, delete that `VotV` folder and nothing else.
After this you shouldn't have any traces of the game in your system.
The amount of content in this game already is astonishing. I really love the idea of random events and slow burn - both work fantastically in horror genre. Can't wait for the new patches.
I agree, this project is like a fresh breath of air into the horror game industry. And I love this game madly for the suspense I've been experiencing for 40+ hours.

Idea: Maybe add a text that requires the player to sit still at their command post? After Omega Kerfur and max upgrades, there is nothing to do besides collect and process signals.
Due to how many upgrades go for downloading signals, maybe there should be an upgrade for processing signals faster too, maybe a late game expensive item that lets you process signals with a seperate upgradable path?
Maybe add an item that boosts the base, similar to signal simulator, maybe a disc that temporarily increases processing speed?
computer power upgrades speed up processing bro, and the automatic processing module lets you toggle what level to automatically process up to without having to hit the start button again
also downloading and processing work faster if you turn off unnecessary power loads at the breaker box
I already know all that, and I already have all the upgrades. Processing still lags behind and I believe having a consumable to speed up processing temporarily is a good idea.
Can i get back a save before that i did the reset of events and object?
i wrong to do the reset and lost all my object bc i forgot to set day 32, i leave day 1

I'm experiencing a bug that started in the first game I played but has carried over to the one I just started: The code panel for the garage won't stay up long enough for me to put in the password. It just flickers on screen. It started in my old save when I accidentally locked the door using that panel and now I can't open it at all in this save. I'm gonna have to climb the ladder outside to the roof so I can open the garage door. In the last save, the panel on the other side of the door also didn't work, and I'm expecting it to not work here either, but I'll update this if it does work.
Edit: After flickering once or twice, I got it to work from the garage side! Don't know what the deal with that is.
Edit 2: Another bug I forgot to mention (which is pretty similar) is that sometimes I can't access the consoles. Pressing E on a console makes me kind of jump like I was moving into position to view the screen, but it won't let me actually use it. It's been happening on-and-off for pretty much the whole time I've been playing, but I only thought to say something now because I'm currently unable to use the console in the base.
It's a really interesting and unique game, but I'm currently stuck in a loop where I'm starving and out of stamina with no money, holding a bunch of MREs that I can't force my character to eat a single bite of unless they're inches from death, and unable to sleep because I'm hungry. Also the power's out and I don't know where the transformers are. I've only found one, and I don't even know exactly where that is cause I just basically crawled back from it in the dead of night after resetting it, which didn't fix the problem cause one or both of the other transformers are down. I think I'm going to start a new game at this point, since I'm only on day 4 and haven't really been able to get anything done.
Also, I haven't had any luck with selling data. I've shipped 2 boxes so far and got emails saying that there wasn't any data on them, even though the lights were green. Maybe I sent the wrong amount the first time, but I'm pretty sure the second one was correct, minus the satellite hashes because I can't seem to use the compass correctly, so I can never find the right satellites in time. I don't know how you're supposed to be able to get all of these things done in a day.
1. You are able to turn off the food tolerance thing in the extra settings. This may seem odd or like you're going against the rules of the game, but it's honestly more of a preference thing. By the time I figured out I could do this, I already had enough food to last me weeks.
2. You are able to target the transformers with "sv.target tr_(transformer number)". You can check which transformers need to be reset with "tr.check". If you so choose you can also go to the main electrical box outside your base and simply follow the wires on the poles to each individual transformer. Hopefully they will add consoles into the transformer buildings because it doesn't really make sense that you are targeting a non-existent console. That, and it's just inconvenient to not be able to target anything else if you have more transformers to reset.
3. "sv.target (satellite name)" can be used to target the consoles in the satellites. The red part of the compass points towards your target. By default, it will point north. Use "sv.target reset" to reset your target so it points north again. You may also target "alpha". This is your console inside your base.
4. I am not sure if the drive thing is a bug, but just make sure you are getting an email that states you've done the daily task. You will sometimes get messages regarding certain signals on the drives you deliver that don't really mean anything and are just flavor text. However, if this persists, I would try restarting the game or maybe even your save as it seems you already planned on doing.
This all sounds like a lot but once you get used to managing everything and spending your time wisely it becomes very easy to do everything with multiple in game hours to spare and you will soon have the issue of having too many signals and not enough to do. If the game appeals to you, I would absolutely recommend you continue because I have loved this game so far.
Collect some trash in the observatory and sell it via the Item Box you can purchase. There are some free trash bags lying next to the thingy that wipes your drives (or somewhere near the table where the drive boxes are). It should give you plenty of money for starters. You can also put some other misc items into the Item Box for even more extra cash, like rocks or fire extinguishers. Then just treat yourself to some shrimp or pizza and you'll be all ready to face them Arirals.
For the transformers, you approach your console (at your left side when you're facing your mainframe PC) and type `tr.check` to check the status of your transformers. It'll output the info such as TR_0: xx%, TR_1: xx%, TR_2: xx%. Then you put `sv.target TR_0` (or TR_1, TR_2) and drive where the red side of your compass points you towards. Navigating to the dishes works this way, it's just `sv.target Bravo` instead of `TR_0`, for example. Don't forget to turn a bunch of switches on in the observatory after fixing the transformers.
Don't worry about the emails saying that "there's nothing meaningful". You get money for sending any drive with the green light. I think you simply can't send the empty or copied drives.
There's a learning curve. The more you play the more you learn. I do all the tasks early in the morning and don't have anything to do the whole day in the game at this point, hence stopped playing until the next update. Have fun!
For some reason, the drive on the computer/processor sometimes gets bugged and won't let you extract processed data to it until you take it out and put it back in, I assume dr.kel also blows on the drive like an old game cartridge too.
Farming pots aren't explained well, I can't seem to harvest anything from them, like the white orb fungus or anything else.
you click M2 on it while you holding fishing rod in your hands. it will increases the chances of catching fish and trash The better the bait, the higher the chances
on green bunker you can find piece of paper with text on german language, it has coordinates, on this coordinates you can dig fishing rod with some fish bait
The game is great, BUT, one such fat BUT ... FENCE! When you send your Kerfus to fix one of the transformers (TR_0), he stably gets stuck in this fence until I myself come and restart this damn transformer. This moment is wildly annoying, especially when you can't leave the base, for certain reasons...

Maybe not the best advice if you are...at a certain point in the game, but, you could try sleeping for a little bit. When the game speeds up so to do the Kerfuses and that can sometimes get them unstuck...or get them stuck somewhere new and fun lol.
Or, I think you can do this with the base Kerfus (not sure if Omega) but in the camera section of the computer there should be a green arrow icon. Clicking that allows you to take control of the little robots. Maybe worth a try?

зайди в C:Users\твой акаунт\AppData\Local\VotV\Saved\SaveGames и удали data.sav ТОЛЬКО СДЕЛАЙ КОПИЮ ПОТОМУ-ЧТО ЭТО ВСЕ ДАННЫЕ ИГРЫ

dig around a bit, it's not perfect but I spiralled outwards from the first spot I tried and hit it pretty quick
probably shows up on metal detector too as a more pin-point locator but I didn't test it since I didn't have the detector on me at the time

the static lights in the base are completely unoptimized. ironically, the dynamic lights from glowsticks and spotlights are far better for performance

Thx bro,i tried that earlier but by some reason the button "Regenerate" wasnt here on my game version

Heres a tip for everyone that wants to make omega kerfus!
DO NOT MAKE THE FISHING ROD. You cannot undo it and for some reason omega kerfus needs SPECIFICALLY the fishing parts.
I don't know why you're crafting like this, but I've quietly turned from two kerfurs

The Omega Kerfus manual demands fishing parts to craft them. I don't know if they changed the crafting recipe but mine specifically calls for the fishing parts.
my omega kerfus didnt need any fishing parts and to get the parts back you can dismantle it by placing it on the workbench and interacting with the bench
You can't dismantle it by placing it on the workbench i tried. Had to make a new folder to get the fishing parts.
A question for the experts. One wonderful day, the ATV stopped going, and repair attempts did not lead to a solution. I noticed barrels of fuel, but after applying them to the ATV, they just hit and exploded. HOW DO I GET AN ATV, HELP!!!!!

To Fuel the ATV you need to drag the fuel into the front of it. Not put in your hand but you can drop it with alt + r into to fuel it and DO NOT throw the canisters.

В пк есть прокачка за 400 очков Solar atv battery или как-то так. После нее у тебя квадроцикл будет заряжаться от солнца и необходимость в топливе пропадет

How to fully delete the game? Help pls
Delete the folder with the game.
Press Win + R, type `appdata`, press Enter, navigate one folder behind the one that opens, and find the folder that is named as `VotV`. It should be either in `Local`, `LocalLow`, or `Roaming`, I can't really recall right now. Then, delete that `VotV` folder and nothing else.
After this you shouldn't have any traces of the game in your system.
The amount of content in this game already is astonishing. I really love the idea of random events and slow burn - both work fantastically in horror genre. Can't wait for the new patches.

Idea: Maybe add a text that requires the player to sit still at their command post? After Omega Kerfur and max upgrades, there is nothing to do besides collect and process signals.
Due to how many upgrades go for downloading signals, maybe there should be an upgrade for processing signals faster too, maybe a late game expensive item that lets you process signals with a seperate upgradable path?
Maybe add an item that boosts the base, similar to signal simulator, maybe a disc that temporarily increases processing speed?
computer power upgrades speed up processing bro, and the automatic processing module lets you toggle what level to automatically process up to without having to hit the start button again
also downloading and processing work faster if you turn off unnecessary power loads at the breaker box
I already know all that, and I already have all the upgrades. Processing still lags behind and I believe having a consumable to speed up processing temporarily is a good idea.
Can i get back a save before that i did the reset of events and object?
i wrong to do the reset and lost all my object bc i forgot to set day 32, i leave day 1
can i undo the reset in some way and get back my items? i want to go back at an old save, already try to do reset again even to day before, but always without my object :'(

2. its reset objects.... not days.... days counter is just there it does nothing freaking nothing

you can manually backup your save by copying the save file, thats what i did and it works like a charm

The player model is not animated, so I suggest disabling the player's shadow for more convenience.

I'm experiencing a bug that started in the first game I played but has carried over to the one I just started: The code panel for the garage won't stay up long enough for me to put in the password. It just flickers on screen. It started in my old save when I accidentally locked the door using that panel and now I can't open it at all in this save. I'm gonna have to climb the ladder outside to the roof so I can open the garage door. In the last save, the panel on the other side of the door also didn't work, and I'm expecting it to not work here either, but I'll update this if it does work.
Edit: After flickering once or twice, I got it to work from the garage side! Don't know what the deal with that is.
Edit 2: Another bug I forgot to mention (which is pretty similar) is that sometimes I can't access the consoles. Pressing E on a console makes me kind of jump like I was moving into position to view the screen, but it won't let me actually use it. It's been happening on-and-off for pretty much the whole time I've been playing, but I only thought to say something now because I'm currently unable to use the console in the base.
It's a really interesting and unique game, but I'm currently stuck in a loop where I'm starving and out of stamina with no money, holding a bunch of MREs that I can't force my character to eat a single bite of unless they're inches from death, and unable to sleep because I'm hungry. Also the power's out and I don't know where the transformers are. I've only found one, and I don't even know exactly where that is cause I just basically crawled back from it in the dead of night after resetting it, which didn't fix the problem cause one or both of the other transformers are down. I think I'm going to start a new game at this point, since I'm only on day 4 and haven't really been able to get anything done.
Also, I haven't had any luck with selling data. I've shipped 2 boxes so far and got emails saying that there wasn't any data on them, even though the lights were green. Maybe I sent the wrong amount the first time, but I'm pretty sure the second one was correct, minus the satellite hashes because I can't seem to use the compass correctly, so I can never find the right satellites in time. I don't know how you're supposed to be able to get all of these things done in a day.
1. You are able to turn off the food tolerance thing in the extra settings. This may seem odd or like you're going against the rules of the game, but it's honestly more of a preference thing. By the time I figured out I could do this, I already had enough food to last me weeks.
2. You are able to target the transformers with "sv.target tr_(transformer number)". You can check which transformers need to be reset with "tr.check". If you so choose you can also go to the main electrical box outside your base and simply follow the wires on the poles to each individual transformer. Hopefully they will add consoles into the transformer buildings because it doesn't really make sense that you are targeting a non-existent console. That, and it's just inconvenient to not be able to target anything else if you have more transformers to reset.
3. "sv.target (satellite name)" can be used to target the consoles in the satellites. The red part of the compass points towards your target. By default, it will point north. Use "sv.target reset" to reset your target so it points north again. You may also target "alpha". This is your console inside your base.
4. I am not sure if the drive thing is a bug, but just make sure you are getting an email that states you've done the daily task. You will sometimes get messages regarding certain signals on the drives you deliver that don't really mean anything and are just flavor text. However, if this persists, I would try restarting the game or maybe even your save as it seems you already planned on doing.
This all sounds like a lot but once you get used to managing everything and spending your time wisely it becomes very easy to do everything with multiple in game hours to spare and you will soon have the issue of having too many signals and not enough to do. If the game appeals to you, I would absolutely recommend you continue because I have loved this game so far.

Collect some trash in the observatory and sell it via the Item Box you can purchase. There are some free trash bags lying next to the thingy that wipes your drives (or somewhere near the table where the drive boxes are). It should give you plenty of money for starters. You can also put some other misc items into the Item Box for even more extra cash, like rocks or fire extinguishers. Then just treat yourself to some shrimp or pizza and you'll be all ready to face them Arirals.
For the transformers, you approach your console (at your left side when you're facing your mainframe PC) and type `tr.check` to check the status of your transformers. It'll output the info such as TR_0: xx%, TR_1: xx%, TR_2: xx%. Then you put `sv.target TR_0` (or TR_1, TR_2) and drive where the red side of your compass points you towards. Navigating to the dishes works this way, it's just `sv.target Bravo` instead of `TR_0`, for example. Don't forget to turn a bunch of switches on in the observatory after fixing the transformers.
Don't worry about the emails saying that "there's nothing meaningful". You get money for sending any drive with the green light. I think you simply can't send the empty or copied drives.
There's a learning curve. The more you play the more you learn. I do all the tasks early in the morning and don't have anything to do the whole day in the game at this point, hence stopped playing until the next update. Have fun!
How can I use the radio ?
For some reason, the drive on the computer/processor sometimes gets bugged and won't let you extract processed data to it until you take it out and put it back in, I assume dr.kel also blows on the drive like an old game cartridge too.
Farming pots aren't explained well, I can't seem to harvest anything from them, like the white orb fungus or anything else.
What Can i Do with Fishbait? how it works?

The game is great, BUT, one such fat BUT ... FENCE! When you send your Kerfus to fix one of the transformers (TR_0), he stably gets stuck in this fence until I myself come and restart this damn transformer. This moment is wildly annoying, especially when you can't leave the base, for certain reasons...

Когда ты отправляешь своего Керфуса чинить один из трансформаторов (TR_0), он стабильно застревает в этом заборе, пока я сам не прийду и не перезапущу этот чёртов трансформатор. Этот момент дико бесит, особенно когда ты не можешь выйти с базы, по определённым причинам...
Maybe not the best advice if you are...at a certain point in the game, but, you could try sleeping for a little bit. When the game speeds up so to do the Kerfuses and that can sometimes get them unstuck...or get them stuck somewhere new and fun lol.
Or, I think you can do this with the base Kerfus (not sure if Omega) but in the camera section of the computer there should be a green arrow icon. Clicking that allows you to take control of the little robots. Maybe worth a try?

I'm pretty sure the computer still works after a power outage, you just have to turn it back on.
