Yeah, the way the time goes when you're asleep is pretty much a fundamental issue in VotV. The dev may or may not rewrite it, so the only workaround for a player right now is to manage the sleep better.
It is extremely sad that there is no window with noborder, since it is impossible to hang the application on top of all windows, because there is no second monitor.

Don't think you can. All I can suggest is to build up credits and don't reset them when you reset events and objects so you can buy it out of the gate.

winrar and 7zip let you open compressed archives but you SHOULD NOT RUN FILES OUT OF COMPRESSED ARCHIVES- this is a bonus function of archiving tools that is meant to just be a safe way to quickly view a compressed folder/archive. The function you are looking for is to right click the compressed folder you downloaded, and go down to 7zip, and select "extract to (folder name)", do NOT use "extract here" as that will dump all the compressed folder's contents into the directory the compressed folder is in, not a new folder; this isn't a huge issue for VotV but other compressed folders can easily "zip-bomb" your computer if you use extract here in the wrong places.
You may have to wipe all your votv files out of your local directory as they are probably corrupted by running a compressed program. If you don't know how to do this, type %appdata% into your microsoft search bar to go to roaming, go BACK one folder to the actual appdata folder (%appdata% takes you to the roaming folder in the appdata folder for some reason, not appdata), and then simply open the local folder, scroll down to the folder labelled "votv", and delete it. You should then be able to run the game as normal from the EXTRACTED folder.

Перед этим сделайте бэкап сохранения, т.к я неправильно сбросил дни, и просто снёс всё в своём мире, а мог бы продолжить играть с 29 дня... Нет, я конечно могу продолжить, но у меня там всё так, буто я только пришёл в игру. Нет никаких улучшений, и очков. и все вещи стоят так, как в начале. Всё потому что я неправильно сбросил свой сейв.
Сейв надо не удалять, а сбрасывать. В списке сохранений есть специальная кнопка, но перед сбросом надо выбрать дни, которые вы хотите сбрасывать. О сбросе сохранении читайте в разделе помощи в игре
i love this game! its a ton of fun and very atmospheric, it would be nice to be able to play it with *one* other person though, as its quite alot to manage for a single person
Idk why you got so many downvotes lol I recommend upgrading download speed and computer power to streamline the signal catch and process. Also I found that ditching the vehicle in favor of just sprinting might be faster to get the reports. But yea, multiplayer with at least one more person would make the game more entertaining but maybe that's gonna be for a further future, the dev will decide in the end

I just love the game... it's so peaceful and frightening at the same time.
The sunrises and sunsets give me peace, while the nights give me the creeps. The tutorial was enough for me to learn the basics. Explore the map, it's beautiful and you'll find nice places with nice items.

You have to use the Polarity and Frequency dials, get them both as close as you can to 100% then the Downloading will start to go up. Also play the tutorial, it goes onto other mechanics like control panel commands, server maintenance and transformers.
Press and hold E on them and while you do that use the mouse wheel to turn it up and down, then keep an eye up on the screen where it'll say how close you are, it's a yellow number. Once you do that for both it'll start downloading

I'm having this weird issue where upon loading into the game, the base's walls are not fully loaded and are instead a low quality texture. I don't know how to fix this besides constantly reloading the game until it doesn't happen. Anyone have a clue on how to fix this issue I'm having? The ceiling, floor, computer, termals, desks, and all other objects are fully loaded, It's just the walls and the angled part connecting to the ceiling in the main room.
Changing the texture setting was the first thing I tried, second being the reloading the save until it loads properly. It was at 1 and I changed it to 4 with nothing happening. I just relaunched the game to see if setting textures to 0 then back to 4 would fix it, only for nothing to happen, same thing with from 0 to 1.
Go to one of the transformers, TR_1 I think and bag up the meat pile behind it, then take that to Sierra with a shovel just before midnight and bury the bag in front of the "erie zone" text, then wait there, it will not work if you leave.
Both technically, I knew about the Erie plush from the discord and after researching who Erie was I figured out that you had to use the meat/gore pile by one of the transformers, what I didn't know was that you also have to stay there, so I would bury it leave and come back the next day, after 3 days I went looking to see what I did wrong, which was you have to stay there.

Ну, это же симулятор, так что и суть у тебя одна - сигналы ловить, да карту изучать.
А что, если из бекрумс можно выбраться не только перезагрузкой? Я вобще не знал что бэкрум есть в игре... Надо будет туда попасть в следующем моём прохождении
кстати на границе, где стоит та кибитка, в ней есть диск, его можно прослушать? ибо когда я туда в первый раз попал я его мог только взять и съесть, потом я для проверки создал новые мир перелез а диск светится зелёным но подобрать его не могу

yeah i try to use hammers i find on base and in transformer rooms i know that a fair amount of strokes are needed there but nothing happens. as far as i know btw there's an animation of falling splinters when you hit a box and it's about to broke but i don't see that either
I'd really like to play this game but my 2560 x 1080 monitor doesn't play well with it. Is there any config file that I can modify the game's resolution with?
In the game's help section it says that all you need to do is add your resolution there, let me know if it helps because it didn't change anything for me

I lost my Kerfus after I reset my Events and Objects and I'm quite upset about it. How do I save Kerfus the next time I reset Events and Objects?
Don't think you can. All I can suggest is to build up credits and don't reset them when you reset events and objects so you can buy it out of the gate.
Damn, MrDrNose is gonna have to fix that because it's gonna suck losing your Kerfus Omega. Like, all that work just reduced to atoms

7zip: Unexpected end of data
Good evening, i am having issues with the file.
I have tried with winrar, it says it can't open the file.
I have tried with 7zip and get the above error message.
The filesize is also different after downloading, the page says it is 891MB but the downloaded file is around 650MB.

Попробуй 7zip (7-zip.org) или NanaZip (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/nanazip/9N8G7TSCL18R). Недавно добавленная в винду дефолтная утилита для работы с 7z файлами просто отвратная.
Если уже пользуешься 7zip или NanaZip, то, может, у тебя антивирус архив как-то пометил? Попробуй перекачать.

Apparently not a bug, dev just modified the daily task requirements for balance in the last couple updates.

You need to wait until both downloading and detection are finished. Detection is on the top of the signal info and downloading is at the bottom.

i know that a fair amount of strokes are needed there but nothing happens. as far as i know btw there's an animation of falling splinters when you hit a box and it's about to broke but i don't see that either
I'd really like to play this game but my 2560 x 1080 monitor doesn't play well with it. Is there any config file that I can modify the game's resolution with?

In the game's help section it says that all you need to do is add your resolution there, let me know if it helps because it didn't change anything for me
